Water use survey
Research: We hope to learn how household’s outdoor water use is related to animal and plant life in the Fresno/Clovis area. You were selected as a possible participant in this study because you are a resident of Fresno/Clovis.
Procedure: The questions focus on your household’s water use habits and understanding of the water policies and should take 30 minutes to complete the survey.
Risk/Benefit Analysis: There is little risk from completing the survey except for the possible inconvenience to your time. You might find it beneficial to reflect on your household’s water habits, but we cannot guarantee that you will receive any benefits from this study.
Confidentiality: Any information that you provide will not be identifiable to you. The survey will be separated from the informed consent and none of your responses will be associated with your identity.
Your decision whether or not to participate will not prejudice your future relations with California State University, Fresno. If you decide to participate, you are free to withdraw your consent and to discontinue participation at any time without penalty. The Committee on the Protection of Human Subjects at California State University, Fresno has reviewed and approved the present research.
